LawrenceHost.Com is a brand new web hosting company headquartered in Lawrence, KS, USA. We are tiny. Very, very tiny. As in there are only two of us, plus a couple of people we call in on an as-needed basis.
And we really don't mind if you don't buy hosting through us. Isn't that refreshing?
We didn't start LawrenceHost.Com to make a lot of money, but because we were tired of doing that dance called, "the Web Host Shuffle," in which we went from one web host to another searching for reliability. We're not interested in getting a lot of clients. Our intent is simply to provide ourselves with hosting and sell hosting to a few friends to defray our server costs. If you're interested, though, we do host a few webcomics, as well as other types of sites, and we'll be happy to help you set up your own webcomic, blog, etcetera, although most of those are pretty easy to install with our web-based control panel. (See below.)
We host everything at Liquidweb's datacenters, and highly recommend them. In fact, unless you know us, or need help with a webcomic, or just want helping out a couple of starving artists, you might want to call Liquidweb. Most web hosts are resellers like us--just most of them won't tell you that.
We don't have an automated order system because we don't do "standard packages." We'd rather talk about what you need and work out a price. Most accounts run about fifteen or twenty dollars a month, and if you need help setting things up, we charge a small setup fee that varies depending on what you need help with. If your needs change and you end up using more than your allotment of bandwidth or whatever, we don't cut you off or suspend your site; we just renegotiate.
If you change your mind--for any reason at all--during your first thirty days with us, we'll happily refund every cent you've paid us. If you become dissatisfied later, we'll refer you to another host that might better suit your needs.
Look through the rest of this site, and if we sound like what you're looking for, use the contact link to the left of the page.
Thanks for looking!
